No-exam life insurance
Accelerated underwriting: who gets it, how the process works, and what happens without it.
Today, many carriers provide accelerated underwriting: within age and coverage limits, they reach a decision from your application, Rx history, driving record, and other files without a paramedical exam. Approvals can arrive within a day. Every quote here shows whether an exam is required, conditional, or unnecessary.
What it changes
No exam doesn't mean no underwriting. Your responses are checked; a policy issued based on false statements can be challenged in the first two years. The carrier might still request testing if its data flags concerns—and you choose whether to move forward.
Who tends to qualify
Often applicants younger than about 60 seeking coverage within the carrier's accelerated underwriting cap, with no significant health conditions and no tobacco in at least the past year. Some carriers substitute recent bloodwork from your doctor for a paramedical exam.
A paramedical examiner typically visits your home or workplace in Gardena for 20 to 30 minutes—no charge to you. For healthy applicants, exam results often yield a better rate class, so it's not inherently unfavorable.
