Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The tool only asks for your sex, birth date, general health status, tobacco use history, desired coverage sum, and policy term. Six data points are sufficient to provide quotes. Personal details like your name and full address are only requested if you proceed with an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They represent the premium quotes from each insurer for the health classification you indicated. After you apply, the actual rate depends on each carrier's underwriting review, which might raise, lower, or maintain your classification. Any quotes shown here are not final pricing guarantees or insurance offers.
What happens when I click Apply?
The application will ask for your full name, then the system creates an application from your chosen quote, which transfers to the carriers' secure system. You can pause and come back anytime, and you'll sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California insurance agency (License 0B75129), manages the application.
Will I need a medical exam?
Each carrier's underwriting process is different. Many term products now feature fast underwriting for medically-eligible applicants with no exam needed. Individual quotes on this site note whether an exam is required, conditional, or not necessary.
Is a longer term better?
The appropriate period is however long someone depends on your earnings or your financial help. A mortgage, dependent children, or a business loan might need coverage until age 60 or 65. The tool lets you compare 10-, 15-, 20-, 25-, and 30-year terms to find what matches your situation.
Does this site sell my information?
We do not. Visitor data is not collected before quotes, we don't sell or resell data to anyone, and our analytics use no cookies. View the privacy page for specifics on what's recorded and by whom.
